Final Floor > Initial Floor

  • On September 4th, at 9am, the Seller observes on the market that the floor actually increased to 1.2 ETH. His initial view was wrong, the NFT collection floor price increased, but it is still in his best interest to settle in order to get his Security Deposit back.

  • He purchases a floor NFT at 1.2 ETH and sells it directly for to the contract, getting the Settlement Price (0.8 ETH) plus his Security Deposit (0.6 ETH), so 1.4 ETH, making a 0.2 ETH profit.

  • Overall, the Seller made 0.2ETH for a 0.6ETH investment, so a -67% return and 0.4ETH loss.

  • The Buyer received a NFT worth 1.2ETH for a 0.8ETH investment, so a +50% return and 0.4ETH gain
