Taking a sell order

Here's what happens when you take a sell order:

  • You don't need to own any NFT from the collection to start a sell order

  • If there is a buyer immediately available for a match, your sell order will start as soon as you confirm and pay the security deposit

  • If there is no buyer available you will be added to the order book. In that case you authorise BullvBear to move your WΞ for you. As soon as a buyer is found, the security deposit will be sent to the contract

  • If you are not immediately matched, your order will remain valid until the expiration deadline. If there is no match before, your order will expire.

  • At anytime before matching, you can cancel your order from the Order page

  • When you are matched with a buyer, your order starts

  • You have until the settlement deadline to settle your order by delivering any NFT from the collection

    • If you do, you will receive the settlement price and your security deposit back

    • If you don't, you will loose your security deposit and it will be sent to the buyer. You will not receive the settlement price.

  • You can settle your order at anytime before the deadline from the Orders page

  • Once the order is settled, go to the Orders page to reclaim your Ξ or your NFT

Before confirming your order, you will find all the information summarised in the modale 👇

  1. What you pay to start a sell order. This security deposit will be sent back to you as you deliver the NFT.

  2. Status of your order

    1. "Not matched yet" if not matched

    2. Wallet address of the buyer if you are immediately matched

  3. The settlement price = the price the buyer pays to get the NFT and what you receive when you deliver the NFT

  4. The settlement deadline = the deadline by which you have to send the NFT. If you don't send the NFT before this deadline, you will loose your security deposit and you won't get the settlement price

  5. The platform fees you pay to take a Sell Order

  6. The points you will earn with this order when it is matched

You can expend each of the section to learn more about the parameters.
